Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy in Early Intervention (EI) focuses on helping infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) develop the skills they need to engage in everyday activities, also known as "occupations." For young children, these occupations include playing, feeding, dressing, and interacting with their environment.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy in Early Intervention focuses on helping infants and young children with developmental delays or disabilities improve their movement, strength, balance, and coordination. A physical therapist (PT) works to develop and enhance gross motor skills such as sitting, crawling, walking, and running, which are essential for mobility and overall physical development.

Getting help for your child takes a lot of strength! A child with a suspected delay or diagnosed condition requires the help of trained professionals. Contacting us about your child not reaching their milestones is scary! But if your child is not crawling, walking, playing or talking like their peers it is important to provide your child the opportunity to receive support.

Bravo Kids will ease your frustration by walking your family through the process of Early Intervention. Please refer your family and friends to visit our website so they can get better insight as to how we can help your child.

Once you contact us, a service coordinator will be assigned to your family and they will assist you through the procedure. With the family’s permission, specialized evaluators will be assigned to your case. The evaluation and evaluation report will include but not limited to assessment, clinical opinion, parent interview and behavioral observations. Eligibility is based on if a child has a diagnosed medical condition or if they have a 33% delay  in one of the following developmental domains ( Ex:Cognitive, Communication, Social- Emotional, Adaptive, and Physical Development) OR 25% delay in two developmental delays.
